Computational Fluid Dynamics - Fluid Flow Path Analysis and Optimization Project Objectives: – Consultant to analyze and understand elements of one (1) flow cell with an ID of 1mm or less and roughly 1-2" long. – Consultant to provide recommendations as to the fitness of the designs and make suggestion for improvements of design and selected components. - Consultant shall identify ways to potentially increase flow rate accuracy and minimize dead zones - Consultant shall provide feedback on how to improve design -- Design is a plastic part roughly 1-2" wide with microfluidic flow path. Design is bidirectional. Inputs: – One CAD diagram and requirements. Deliverables: – Final recommendations and optimized fluidic design(s) in PPT presentation format with graphics, comments for improvement, calculations, etc. Ideally, consultant should be able to modify the CAD diagram.
