Design a moving part on a metal consumer product

I have the basic form and function for a consumer product which will primarily be made of metal. I need someone to design and determine the most effective way to get a "pull" action (made by the user) result in a "push" action of a component of the product. Additionally, the pull distance is 1/2", while the resulting push distance needs to be 1 5/8". While there could be multiple solutions, I need someone with the expertise to identify which makes the most business sense--which solution will hold up the best, require the least amount of tooling and be cheapest to manufacture. If you believe you can come up with multiple viable solutions, I'd love to hear from you. There are also some structural and cosmetic design parts of the product to be completed. After completing the design, I am looking for a prototype and manufacturing quote, so if you have this experience or, at least, contacts that this project can be handed off to, I am looking for that in someone I hire.
