Hi I am looking out for a highly skilled developer for one of our projects on Android. This is basically a parental control app which ll allow the parents to keep an eye on the activity of their children (activity will be monitored on Android phone of the children). The app will run in a hidden mode and will have the following basic features: 1. Get a peek at the SMS inbox. 2. View contacts. 3. View outgoing and incoming calls. 4. Get location. 5. Get whatsapp & facebook activity. The activities will be visible on a web based panel. What will be required? Android app to run as a service and send all the above mentioned data to the server via webservices. What will be provided? We ll provide you the webservices to accept data from the Android app and store it on the server. We ll also provide you a demo panel where you would be able to get a feedback on the data you sent from the app in a real time mode. Before bidding pls consider the following important points: 1. We need an expert on the android app platform. Someone who has experience developing a similar app would be highly preferred. 2. Although our budget for this app is limited and should be close to th lower range of project budget (about 800-1000 USD) but since we are venturing in the app development business, a successful project would mean a long term partnership assuring non stop flow of mobile app projects. 3. We need this done within one month from date of awarding the project which is critical and we need the freelancer to be punctual on that. 4. In case you have any queries pls clarify them with us.

Hello dear, i have done this same work as academic projects,,Except getting whatsapp and facebook activity, all other has included in my previous [login to view URL] i named this app as Parental Control..I made a simple website to display all the details from this app. Also it is working as background service.. if you are interested,please feel to reply..I am waiting for your reply.. In that app there is only a login and registration part in android side,remaining all the service are doing in background and storing in the database..From the database data will be retrieved and displayed in the website.. Hi, I am interested in this project. I am an android application developer. I have experience with integrating webservices with android apps. I also have experience in reading the sms inbox and call logs and retrieving location. One concern I have about your requirements is the logging of facebook and whatsapp activities. Directly monitoring these apps is not possible due to the security architecture of android and these apps do not dump enough logs for any feasible solution. But, an indirect approach would be to monitor input text boxes for text entered into them. But, whether those input boxes will be of facebook or whatsapp or any other app cannot be established easily. Apart from facebook and whatsapp monitoring, all other requirements mentioned by you are very much feasible to add in the app. Let me know your thoughts about these. We are bidding low because we are new to freelancer. But we have enough experience in building mobile apps, please see our portfolio for our previous apps. We are the developers of Android app for Google Developer Group Cochin. Regarding your app, we have a couple of clarifications, given in private message. Hope this will be a starting point for a lot of development. Regarding the backend, we would suggest to use a backend as service platform like parse, which will give you much better performance. 3. View outgoing and incoming calls. We assume this is the outgoing and incoming numbers. 5. Get whatsapp & facebook activity. We cannot get the specific activity, but get the time children use this app. Hope that's what you mean. Rest is fine, Hope to do this project together.
