Android Yahoo Web Search Alert

Write an Android application to monitor messages in Yahoo groups. When a certain string is found in a message in a group then an alert is sounded. Users can define the group and string. Up to 3 groups may be monitored. Up to 3 strings may be used for searching. The program should run in the background. The system should check for messages every N minutes. N will be a config parameter NOT VISIBLE TO THE USER. When a match is found then an alert will appear and a beep or sound file will be played. The wav file may be changed by the user. A config page is required which allows the users to enter - their yahoo login - the groups to search - the strings for each group - the sound file The app should not use any third party software without my consent. The source code should be original and the author's own work. The app should be tested before delivery. Complete source code should be provided. The app should run on android mobile OS V1.6 to V2.3. I travel a lot and cannot guarantee a 24 hour response time to your messages. Sometimes, I may take 2 - 5 days to respond. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform The app should run on android mobile OS V1.6 to V2.3.
