Change the gson code when returning JSON data from remote

I have a mobile app, that uses it's own backend to update and pull data. I'm shifting the backend to WordPress and wordpress RestFul API.
The Android application is using gson library to convert a JSON string to an equivalent Java object. There is difference in the JSON response between my backend and WordPress .

The new backend sends back much more JSON data - so many data items needs to be suppressed to take the JSON respond and to map the respond to the JAVA object as is.
I'm looking for someone that know how to use gson library, and map the key JSON string respond to the JAVA object.
