Compile SciTECO to run on Android

My computer is broken and I need a professional quality text editor to run on it. I am used to an editor called SciTeco; it's open source and very powerful. There are compiled packages of it for Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS, and Windows. I would like someone to compile it for Android. No re-writing the code necessary (I think) just building the code to be compatible with Android.
One programmer has had success running Vim natively on Android. He built it with NDK. Vim has similar dependencies to SciTeco (Ncurses mostly) and I think it's possible to build SciTeco the same way as [login to view URL]
