Convert iphone application from parse, to own custom database

I have an ios application source, it currently uses parse for storage.
I wish for this to be changed so it uses a database which will be self hosted.
Images will be saved to folders etc...
I would also like a modification to allow sending of messages (text, emojis etc..)
