Greetings, I'm Delphi expert with large experience. I can however write C# if needed. Can you tell at what stage is this conversion, how much is it finished, how complex is the original software and what it does. Note that for this type of application, per hour work is most fair for both of us.

Hi, I have about 14 years of Delphi development experience but haven't used it in about 4 years as I've moved over to c#. I am available to work on this at a minimum of 30 hours a week (I do have some other commitments), but could probably push this up substantially. My bid ($ and Days) is based on your estimate of how much it would cost to complete as I obviously have no view the scope of the project. I normally charge 40USD/hour, but am happy to to do an initial project at 20USD/hour to prove my worth as I try to develop long term partnerships with my customers rather than doing one off projects. I'd recommend we discuss the costs further once I've had an opportunity to look at the actual requirements of what the system needs to do. I also need to know what version of Delphi you've used (if you want the existing coding in Delphi completed - I'll clear out the spiderwebs ). I'm currently using VS2010 as I tend to upgrade every 2nd version - but that should be sufficient. I also need to know what DB you use if any and whether I would have access to your environment via something like team viewer. I also have contactable references if you require.
