I bought some parts for automation but i'm struggling to get everything to work together. This is the list of parts i have, and planning to put to work:
- Arduino mega 2560
- Compatible Ethernet shield
- 4 channel relay module
- DHT22 and DHT11 sensors (humidity and temperature)
- DS1307 Real Time Clock Module
- BH1750FVI (I2C light intensity module)
- Soil moisture sensor (made from galvanized nails/wires)
- 1602 LCD display
- Breadboard
- Jumper wires
- Push buttons
- Resistors, etc.
My goal is to control temperature, humidity, lighting time and watering cycles, make set-points for the fans/light/pump to turn on/off all via web gui and optionally send graphical data acquisition to the pc via the ethernet cable. I found some codes and projects for this purpose but i lack knowledge to modify them for my needs. Send me a message if you are interested about the project, have any questions or better ideas how to put this project to together.
Hi,
I have worked a bit with adruino kit & its controlled well through android phone.
I mean, if you could set a android phone as a heart of this kit then everything can be managed through a web-interface and thats something we can work on.
There are two components to it. One is android to adruino kit.
and second is a android to webservice which is then managed by a software interface.
Can discuss more on this.
Let me know your suitable time.
Thanks,
Amit
Hello;
I think I have an Idea about what to do because I have a good experience in Arduino and I worked for a Smart Home (Home Automation) as a graduation project
Automatic gardening and remote access is a simple project if one takes it step by step interfacing and coding for one peripheral at a time. As a electronics engineering student, I have worked on numerous automation projects similar to this. You may be technically sound in arduino programming or not, I will help you throughout the process. And I am looking forward to working with you.
