We understand that your client is already running an application and the application is storing the data into a SQL Server Database. Now, you want to migrate this data to an new database according to you it's may a MySql Database. So, we are defining the methodology in brief which are undermentioned. Please note that we are giving you this methodology with some assumption: 1. We are assuming that we could work on your existed application code base where we have to change in your code base. 2. We are assuming from your mentioned point that the destination database will be in Cloud and the source database will be in local. 3. We will develop a new Web Service for synchronize the data between the Source and Destination. 4. When a new data will add, modify or delete in the database, in that case we will modify your existed code and we will call the service from your code and service will synchronize the data into the cloud server. We understand that there will be a configuration page but we have some doubt about the activities of this page. Is there will be a chance for multiple source and multiple destination database? Is there will be any option in configuration page where user will be able to select the type. For example he may synchronize only new addition data of the database. Please Specify. I can implement this solution using Informatica Cloud. For Informatica cloud you need to have a subscription based license which will give you an extra advantage of using it when-you-want and pay as-you-go. What i need to make sure is that you have connectivity license to your source and target database and you are willing to try this option with Informatica cloud. I have recently developed a data Integration module that can Import and Export data from a source database to a destination database (new or existing) with basic reports indicating the number of records transfered into each table. The user also has the option to export data to an existing database where he only adds to the existing destination database the records that does not already exist. I will also do validation checks on my side before the actual data import starts, to verify if the table structure on the existing destination database match the structure of the source database, if not, i will create those tables on the destination database (with user input ofc. ex. "the destination table structure does not match the source table structure.... " (and i will supply a list that can be selected / de-selected with tick boxes ect. for the user to chose which tables to create if they dont exist before the actual import.) - by default all checkboxes will be selected to include all changes to the structure, but the user will have the option to exclude certain tables (only a special feature for sensitive data.) I am open for suggestions and requests.. The project will take me around 2 to 3 days to complete to your spesifications, but have set my bid to 4 days to include dedicated testing time. Regards.
