Dear khtan233
I have been using Eagle since 2005 and I am very knowledgeable about the tool's features. I have completed over 15 board designs (schematic + layout) in Eagle, including 4 and 6 layer boards. I have also written numerous ULP programs as well as Python programs to generate Eagle scripts (SCR files).
I am also a very experienced hardware engineer (over 9 years of industry experience), so I can also contribute to the quality and manufacturability of your board design.
My proposed workflow follows:
1) You send me your current Eagle schematic, all component selection and mechanical spec info
2) I will create and submit for your review the following:
2b) A "provisional" layout, which will include the mechanical features, a basic floorplan, and approximate component locations. I will provide Eagle SCH+BRD files.
2c) A custom library (LBR file) with all of your components
2d) An Eagle-generated BOM
3) Once you approve the provisional layout, I will complete the layout and submit for your review:
3a) Eagle SCH+BRD+LBR files
3b) Draft fab package (ZIP file) including: gerbers, PCB fab notes, assembly drawing, BOM, XY (centroids) data file
4) After you review the final fab package, I will make any changes and resubmit for review
5) We'll call the job finished
I am assuming that your PCB fits in Eagle Light's 100x80mm size limit. If not, I'll require an additional RM1400 to upgrade my Eagle license.
Thank you
