ASP.Net application.

e-HIPAA is a web based interface between medical insurers and doctors and hospitals (providers) written in VB.Net as ASP.Net application. Providers can log in and enter medical claims, claim status requests, eligibility requests and so on. These transactions are converted into EDI transactions and processed by back-end systems. Response transactions are in EDI, but can be displayed as reports, printed as pdf or downloaded. The Data access layer is modularized to support a variety of database systems. Style and display is controlled through CSS and e-HIPAA can be 'branded' to multiple clients. Purchasers of e-HIPAA will have customization work to reflect their business needs. ## Deliverables I am looking for a long term relationship with a coder. The candidate has to be brilliant and fast. I require deep knowledge of ASP.Net and VB.Net, the latest techniques and upcoming changes with ASP 2.0 and dedication to keep up with technology trends. Client side validation is done through Java script and regular expressions. Coder needs to be excellent with those methods beyond the obscure Microsoft way of doing Java script. The application needs to be able to handle high loads and the coder must know how to design for traffic volume. Modularizing components is important as well as clear, effective and well commented code. Business rules and requirements will be spelled out by me and my partners, but coding details are the coder's responsibility. I do expect innovative thinking and detail conscious coding. I do not tolerate gross mistakes, ineffective, slow or ugly code or English spelling errors. Initially, the application needs to be completed and ported to MS SQL server. It runs on IBM UniData at this time. It needs an Admin front end. (that is done in VB6 at this time) There are pages in Gridlayout that have to be converted to Flow layout. Later, patient and provider look-up pages have to be added and patient and provider data have to be saved with each claim to appear in the look-up. Validation of EDI data through calls to an outside validation engine and highlighting of errors is planned. e-HIPAA can be a great project for a dedicated coder who likes the challenge of developing mid- to large-size web software applications. Individual segments of the work will be paid at pre-agreed price, but I am only looking for someone who wants to stay on for the long time. Communication is important.
