Asset Database

Creation of a web based asset database. We have hundreds of locations and thousands of assets (computers, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.). We want to track various attributes (serial number, condition, etc.).

These assets are divided into categories and the categories can have unlimited nesting.

We have developed a rough table structure that we believe would work but it is free to be changed in the attachment below.

The value for store will be passed in as a GET request object. The attribute types would be text or select (some fields would be restricted to drop-down choices and others would be free-form text).

We only need the user interface that ultimately populates the storeassets and storeassetattributes. The tables defining the assets, assetcategories, attributes, etc. will be populated directly by editing the table.

Store + anything that is an id should be an integer. Value and description fields should be varchar(50).

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

**This is to include SQL to create any procedures, tables, etc.**

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

C#.NET or VB.NET code for Windows 2003 Server running IIS6 with SQL Server 2000.
