Access to Tab delimit txt file

I am working on an access database which will contain 127,000 records; these are to be distributed into about 80 categories. I need to export these 80 categories into tab delimited txt files, with each file being named after the category filed name. Each file also requires that the first line contains the database field names. This is because they need to be imported into another program that required the field structure. I will supply test file with about 10 categories and just a couple of records each, on the understanding that the solution would work with the complete database, which I have not finished yet. I was thinking that: VB may be the way to go, or use Access report or query feature and group the Category field and then export. Anyway, I am looking for simple, workable solution. I am sure this is quite a simple project for a proficient Access expert.
