Browser Helper Object (plugin for IE)

Our company has developed a BHO that will assist in the process of translating whatever text the user clicks on from English to Swedish. When the user ALT-clicks, a new window opens up, gets resized and centered on screen and then shows the translation results on a translation service web page. The new IE window can be closed by pressing ESC and the user continures his work. All this, most of the time, works flawlessly today. Request 1: However, there are some issues that have not been resolved. With the advent of IE7, tabs were introduced and the plugin makes IE crash. This must not happen, and it's probably an easy fix for those who really understand the guts and core of BHOs and ATL/COM programming. IE also wants to crash when navigating to pages that have forms, downloadable stuff etc... Something here is way wrong and we need you to fix it! In IE6 and below things seem stable. Request 2: Make an identical BHO for FireFox. --- You will receive full source code for the implementation as it looks today. Fix the above mentioned stuff and return a fully working source code package. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All flavours of Windows, not .NET dependant. Need to have IE installed (who doesn't have it?) and FireFox if interested in pursuing Reqeust 2.
