Client and Server Program

Requirements: Part 1 (Client) Part 2 (Server) Goal: This program will alert people about certain market conditions and to buy or sell a stock, currency or commodity. The way this program will work is that subscribers will be given a [login to view URL] program that when launched will run the client that will display a window of incoming alerts. When an alert comes in, it will play a sound file. THen there is the server program. This program will be able to send alerts to the client program over the internet. The Client must be able to read in alerts from the server program as well as an XML file. ## Deliverables Some more details: - Client Program functionality: - Trigger a sound file when new alerts come in - Options menu to turn on or off sound alerts - Nice professional and smooth professional design - I will provide you with all the fields as the alerts will be displayed as a table - They will need to log into the program and a databse of users and passwords on the server must be manageable - Server Program functionality - To be able to send and modify alerts - To be able to send out alerts via an XML file. I have a program that can write in XML so the clients could pick it up. Please ask more questions, i can send a sample design if needed to figure out scope
