We are looking for someone that has been previously involved with projects related algorithms, file processing and formats, especially zip format We have two projects related to ZIP files formats: This first project requires cloning or emulating a zip file recovery program (like AZR or ZipRecovery) The project needs to be written in C++. Output should be a library file and an exe with small GUI. We will provide the files and the support to build and use the GUI in a simply project, so we're mostly interested in the library code. The exported library function should be called _recover_zip_file( params... ) and should take following parameters: - full zip file path - recovery parameters ( you could find additional parameters in the options of these recovery programs ) - use a provided sfx file for recovering sfx files (we will provide you a simple stub file) - adjust incorrect data sizes of files contained in zip - try to rebuild zipped file CRC and enter the correct data in the header - check for password if the zip file is password protection - scan backwards - start with the Central Directory Headers then based on that information trying to locate, check and fix local header entries - check cross reference info - make sure the local and the central headers have the same info on files, However, they have different header signatures and will contain different file location positions For the zip code to use - reading/writing headers - artpol's library could be of great help. It is not required the use of this entire library, for code size considerations. Download the library and all documentation at [login to view URL] ~Thanks
