Connect PGPool-II and Amazon

We are current running the pgpool-II load balancer and replicator to provide these features with access to two defined machines running Postgres.? We need a script / application? which can be called automatically (cron or otherwise) that will bring up an Amazon EC2 cloud PC, sync it and plug it in to the pgpool-II application as another server available for queries and load balancing.? We would need a subsquent script that will bring that machine back down. ## Deliverables This will require some knowledge of pgpool-II and Amazon EC2 computing platform. Basically, the process is this: 1.? Run script 2.? Script tells Amazon to bring up EC2 instance 3.? Instance somehow registers itself with currently running pgpool-II on designated machine. 4.? Instance data is replicated 5.? Instance reports back it is ready to pgpool-II to accept queries. (or a similar order to accomplish the end task)
