i was wondering if you have a xml file(i've given u a sample that i made off the top of my head). how in c programming can you convert it to binary i've gotten the corresponding c cstructure to hold the xml info is typedef enum (CANADA, USA, UNITED_KINGDOM, EUROPE) COUNTRY_TYPE; typedef struct { char title[40], //must be unique char artist[40], COUNTRY_TYPE country, char company[30], float price, int year }CD_RECORD; basically i want to read an input text file containing data in xml and parses each of the cd records in xml format into the c structure. should be executed by [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] country is stored as enumeration in the CD_RECORD structure, so it must interpret the COUNTRY elemts value in the xml doc and convert appropriately. can be upper or lower or mixture string "Canada" maps to CANADA "USA" maps to USA. "UK" maps to UNITED_KINGDOM, "EU" maps to EUROPE, anything else is invalid then write the valid records to a binary file using the CD_RECORD structure. That is part 1 there is a part 2 as well if you interested email me and i'll scan the doc and email u it back. sample xml: Bob Dylan 1985 USA 10.90 Columbia Bonnie Tyler UK CBS Records 9.90 1988 Dolly Parton USA RCA 9.90 1982 Gary Moore UK Virgin records 10.20 1990
