Blueprint Bidding Sotware

My idea is to see if it is possible to create, or tell me if it already exists, a software that can read 3-D dimensional construction buildings, like? the CAD system or software,? and give the square footage or linear feet? of the structure? for the different stages of construction? building, ie, calculate square footage for sheetrock or bricks for a structure. I have searched for this kind of software and have not found anything like this. The only thing that has come close is the Autodesk DWF. Also, the software that I am suggesting? needs to be as simple as possible to use so that construction sub-contractors, that are not very computer skilled, can use this program to bid on projects. ## Deliverables To contact me E-mail me at nancybent41@[login to view URL]
