Report Design Component: Control must be ATL with no dependencies. We do not need this component to print or preview or save a report we just need the component to allow us to build reports. 1. Provides a canvas area divided into sections: Report Header Page Header Detail Page Footer Report Footer User defined Property box for sections which allows us to define what properties to assign to sections Ability to add sections to the report 2. Toolbox allows user to add labels, graphic objects (rectangle, line, circle) Properties on each control to include: User defined property box for controls which allows us to define properties to the controls (need standard properties such as font color, etc. but also define our own) 3. Method to programmatically add and save to the canvas (need ot be able to step through each toolbox control on the canvas and obtain the properties for the current control.
