Complex SQL Code

I require a SQL script **and table spec** to calculate out interest payable over a period of time where the interest rate is variable. For example if: Rate Changes: 1st April 1991 10% 31st July 1993 9.23% 1st June 2004 6.1% If a start date is 12th May 1991, the end date is today and the figure is $10,000, then we need to give simple interest on the $10,000 across the span: First span is 10,000 at 10% from 12th May 1991 until 30th July 1993, second span is 10,000 at 9.23% from 31st July 1993 until 31st May 2004 and final span is 10,000 at 6.1%1st June 2004 to today (or whatever end date input). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
