The Publisher Database A publisher database is required to support the operation of a book distribution business. The distribution is from a warehouse to various stores in different cities of the country. The modelling process has identified the following information requirements about titles, authors, publisher, sales (orders by stores), stores and their links: Title information about each book: the title identification, the price, the publication date, v the type of the book (e.g. on computing, biology, maths etc.) and the identification of the publisher. Author information about authors: the author identification, the first name of the author, the last name of the author, the city where the author is based and the postcode of the author. Title-author information linking authors and titles Publisher information about publishers: the publisher identification, the name of the publisher, the city of the publisher and the postcode. Store information about the retail outlets which sell the books: the store identification, the store name, the city and the postcode. Sale information about the sale of a title to a store: the store identification, the date of the sale, the quantity ordered by store, and the identification of the title. The schemas of the corresponding tables are as follows: Title(title id. title, price, pubdate, type, pub_id) Author(auth id, auth_fname, auth_lname, authority, authjpostcode) Title author(title id, auth id) Publisher(pub id, pubjname, pub_city, auth_postcode) Store(store-id, store_name, store_city, store_postcode) Sale(store id, sale_date, qty, title__id) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
