ARM assembler work

We want to port the open-source ffmpeg codec library onto an iPod Touch.

ffmpeg already has some key routines written in ARM assembler. However, they use a syntax and a few instructions not supported by the version of the GNU compiler / assembler called arm-apple-darwin-gcc

I need help to get these into a form that will compile.

You do not need the Apple SDK for this work. I can provide you with the appropriate compiler that can be used in Linux or Cygwin.

## Deliverables

There are just 4 assembler files. I have already done some work with 2 of these. I need someone to check that my changes are correct and to convert the remaining files.

There are also a couple of C files with the assembler embedded. I have converted these into a format that compiles but I would like someone to check that my changes are correct.

Typical errors reported by the compiler are:

Unknown instruction 'ldrd' (I believe this is optional so I have begun to simply delete this instruction).

Unknown instruction 'drd'

The compiler also doesn't like the use of the ".word" and ".func" tags.

ffmpeg uses ARMv6 and ARM5te instructions. It also uses some ARM4 but versions of these functions also exist in v5 and v6. The Apple iPod Touch is based on the ARM1176jzf-s core.

Attached are the original ffmpeg assembler files.
