Android GPS Send & Receive Data to Http Server

**SW Proof of Concept Application V1.0 [7-2011]**

Make an application with 2 functions:

1) Make one button to turn on and record all of the GPS data including precision.

2) Make a button to send the coordinates with the best precision GPS coordinates to an http server (see note1 below) and receive back a location string. The location string will be posted in large red letters in the middle of the screen. Next a clear / reset button will be visible at the bottom of the screen. When the clear / reset button is clicked the GPS coordinates will be erased and the application will be ready to restart.

Place timestamps at the beginning and end of each task so the user can see how long it takes. (i.e. getGPS coordinate 12:34:29.122, GotGPS coordinates: 12:34:29.556, Sending coordinates: 12:36:45.123, GotLocationString : 12:36:46.923)

The HTTP server is ASP V4 and the database is SQL Server 2000. Both web and database are complete. This project is just for the cell phone application. You design a simple GUI. Make it simple as this is a test application. I will need the code all commented for each function & sub routine.

Note1: Data sent to Http Server: fix_name, fix_no, Longitude, oslgps_latitiude, altitude, accuracy, timestamp, device_id, subscriber_id, phone_number, cell_location, battery_level

I will need help setting up the work environment and deploying the app on the cell phone.
