Hello,
I would like a web page that will read and write data from a sql express 2008 R2 database.
Something similar to the free edition of

If you know of any other control that will accomplish this project, please let me know.
The database will be called **[url removed, login to view]** and be stored at **c:\_db**
The webpage will be called **[url removed, login to view]** and be stored at **c:\_db**
The default page was created by dreamweaver as an "ASP JavaScript" page.
The IIS server will be sbs 2003 (I think IIS6). It should also work on IIS7
The connection string will be non-odbc. Something like "Provider=SQLNCLI10;Server=desktop001\\sqlexpress;Database=akmd;Uid=sa; Pwd=sql;"
Work to be done:
1- Confirm that the sql table's Data types are correct.
2- Create the code to autogenerate the uniqueidentifier.
3- Create the [url removed, login to view] page with the ajax table. Need to be able to add, delete, sort, search and do other basic table functions.
4- A script or a scheduled job needs to run everyday where it will compare the s_date to today's date. On each aniversary day, it should send out an email to the email address of the said person with a link to page2.asp. Once the person clicks on the [url removed, login to view] link, some of the fileds from [url removed, login to view] should populate the textboxes on page2.asp.
For example if the s_date is 8/16/2009, an email will be sent on 8/16/2010, 8/16/2011, for that person to go to a page called page2.asp.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I am open to all suggestions.
Would like a very simple code so that additional features can be added in the near future.
