Comparison Shopping Website

I am looking for a programmer to build the first part of a comparison shopping website focused on discount nutritional websites. If the first part is done well, there will be more work immediately. The requirements are as follows: • The beta version will compare prices on products across 5 websites that I have identified: o [login to view URL] o [login to view URL] o [login to view URL] o [login to view URL] o [login to view URL] • Customers will select their product from a dropdown menu that lists brands/manufacturers. • The list of brands/manufacturers and products will need to be scraped from the websites listed above. • Once they have identified which brand/manufacturer they want to shop for, they will click on that brand. • Once they click the brand, that brand’s products should then be listed. • Once they identify the specific product they are looking for, they will click the product at which point the 5 websites should be listed below the product. • For example, when a customer searches for the product “Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard??, the search should return & list the price of that product on all 5 websites so that the customer can compare the prices across sites easily. • The Total Price will need to include all applicable taxes and shipping costs. The following categories should be returned when a customer searches for a product: Price, Shipping & Handling, Taxes, & Total Price (the sum of price, shipping & handling, and taxes). • For simplicity’s sake, I’ve picked only sites that have flat rate shipping or simple shipping procedures (ex. Flat rate shipping of $5.95 or free shipping above $100). • The customer should then be able to click on the website which they want to purchase the product from and then be directed to that website. • For completion of this project, please have this up and running on a development webserver I can access to test its functionality as described. • IMPORTANT: To separate yourself from spammers, please write “Sports Nutrition Comparison Site Response?? as the first line of your bid.
