The following is needed for VB6 If you load an image of any type (gif, jpg etc) into a vb apps webcontrol from a URL (so the picture source is on the net), you can copy and paste this image into a 'Rich Text Box' on Hotmails / MSN Email mail client. Because the image was from a Net control the URL of the image is preserved thus allowing you to send / view the image from the webmail. Works great but the initial webbrowser control load is to long. Successful application needs a 'text box' with the URL of the image to copy to clipboard, and a 'copy' button to load the image to the clipboard. The application should not have to access the internet to perform this operation as the 'loading' of the image from the net will be done by the webmail when it's pasted in. Note: the program currently has a cache folder with a local copy of the image, so this can be used to be loaded onto clipboard. The source of the image on the clipboard needs changing to a URL though. Here is how I currently load the image - 'select loaded image [login to view URL] OLECMDID_SELECTALL, OLECMDEXECOPT_DODEFAULT 'Copy it to the Clipboard [login to view URL] OLECMDID_COPY, OLECMDEXECOPT_DODEFAULT Is there a way to fake the above without having to access the net ?, there must be some data format microsoft is using. This is possible, but I'm stuck :) Thanks edit: I think this one is causing confusion. You can do a test to achieve the same result as this program should. Goto say [login to view URL], 'right click' and 'copy' logo in IE5+. Now start a email in Outlook Express (HTML format) and 'Paste' the image in. You'll notice that the Outlook will load the image and the properties will show a URL. Hope this makes things clearer.
