Utility to convert ASCII data to a custom data format The attach file gives a sample data file with a screen shot of what the data looks like. The sample .dat file needs to be reverse engineered to determine how it is constructed. For the GUI you can use this as a model: [url removed, login to view] The GUI on [url removed, login to view] is just an example of how the app will look. The algorithm to convert the data will be different. Do NOT simply create a clone of this app., but create an app. that looks similar, but creates files in the same format as the attached file. NOTE: The attached data file is NOT standard Metastock format. The point of this project is not to convert ASCII to Metastock files. It is to convert ASCII to a custom file format, which is similar, but not the same as Metastock. As stated previously, you need to reverse engineer the attached file to figure out what that custom format is, then build the app to create files in the same format. I have no source file from which the attached data file has been created and I have no other details on how the file was constructed. Please do not bid on this until you have thoroughly examined the attachment, have experience in this area, and know that you can complete it. Email me with any questions
