SOMORE seeks to develop a website supporting a local online radio station (SOMORE). Your company will develop a clean, professional website that will allow SOMORE to market and promote the radio station while at the same time building a community platform that will allow listeners to engage with each other. The website shall include the following: DESIGN ○ Site shall be designed with a clean, responsive layout that shows favorably on modern desktop browsers (IE 9, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari) and mobile phones (iPhone, Android). Each page will be optimized for multi-platform traffic using the latest technologies (i.e. HTML5, CSS3). ○ SOMORE will provide a logo and photography as well as a selection of colors to be integrated into the site design. ○ Company shall integrate the SOMORE Spreaker platform into the SOMORE website using Spreaker’s Javascript SDK. ○ Company shall design a registration app allowing users to register for email newsletters. ○ Company shall integrate a Message Board platform into the site to allow users to engage with each other over radio content. ○ Company will work to develop a banner advertising system that will allow SOMORE to traffic ads for various sponsors on the site. ○ Site will utilize SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices which include Meta tags and search-engine friendly urls to enable major search engines to index the site’s content. SPREAKER INTEGRATION The Spreaker Platform offers a JavaScript Standard Development Kit (SDK) that provides the ability to integrate Spreaker content into a 3rd party website. We will utilize this SDK to provide users with the ability to listen to SOMORE radio station content directly from the SOM0RE website. Specifically, the SDK will enable us to give a direct link to any “live” shows at the moment of page load. We also will show a list of episodes for a given show on an “archive” page so that users may listen to shows that were pre-recorded. Users will be invited to create Spreaker accounts but this will be optional and will not preclude users from listening anonymously. MESSAGE BOARD Company will integrate a message board platform into the site. This platform will allow users to post messages related to a particular topic or to create a new topic on their own. The message board will be “themed” to use the same look and feel as the rest of the website and will be integrated with popular social media platforms. BANNER ADVERTISING Company will integrate a banner advertising solution into the SOMORE website that allows for banners to be rotated for various sponsors. Banners can be rotated according to impression (view) count, click-thrus or simply length of time. The website should be designed to support standard IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau [login to view URL]) ad sizes.
