Maphpia (pronounced mafia) is a group of PHP web developers that work as contractors developing web projects. The project goal is to create a web design for [login to view URL] [1]. We already have a logo which is an elephant (based on the PHP elephpant) now we need a webpage to describe more on what we are, what we do and who the maphpia members are. The website should be designed to fit the blueprint CSS grid [2] design. The design should use PHP purple colors, like the logo. The deliveries should include PSD (or equivalent) editable files, XHTML and CSS. We would like to have the site cloned for multi languages, so there should also be a change language button. Pages to include should be, * homepage * news (blog) recent list including a view for detail page * portfolio, list of which projects we've done, including a detail view page * about page, list of PHP members * contact form page [1] [login to view URL] [2] [login to view URL]
## Deliverables
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.
* both XHTML and CSS files should be validated * no inline CSS should be used * separated layers for CSS files, so they don't mix with blueprint files. * CSS should be documented on what does what * no CSS hacks (only the ones provided by blueprint) * PSD layers should be grouped and well named
## Platform
XHTML and CSS should be compatible with: * IE 7 and 8 (we don't care about IE6) * firefox 3.6 (or latest) both for windows and linux * chrome (latest) both for windows and linux In theory, blueprint should handle the browser compatible if you stay within their rules
