Customizing tail_n_mail (Perl Script)

A per script called tail_n_mail (google it for more details) can be used to search for matches in the log files (txt files). When some matches are founded, then the script will send a notification by email containing those matches.
I want someone to modify that script to add the possibility to specify the min occurrences for each match. i.e. if you found the occurrence "Error in storing in DB" 25 times then include it in the email otherwise ignore it. The threshold (25) should be defined as a configuration parameter like the original parameters defined in the script.
The script uses the mailing service in Linux to send the emails.
Generally, the script is quite simple and well documented, I have included a copy of full configuration.

I'll add the script to my local Linux box and modify it there, you will be able to receive the emails the script is sending once I've got it modded. Once it is all working as required we can settle the deal!
