Hi, I am an Electrical Engineer practicing for last 8 years in an R&D Organization. I have designed a number of products ranging from RF & Microwave circuits to digital circuits. i have experience in designing filters, couplers, LNAs, Amplifiers, antennas, sweep generators, function generators, VCOs, NCO and many more in the frequency range of DC to 2 GHz. i use ADS, HFSS, OrCAD, Eagle PCB and Altium for the design and development of the above mentioned products. Hi there. I bid the highest amount because I still don't have a complete grasp of what you're needing here. If the work is less than I assume, I can drop this bid to an appropriate level. Please correct me if I am wrong. You want a 120V 60Hz device that runs for 15 mins at a user selected amperage between 0 and 15 amps, shuts down for 20 seconds while you manually change the settings(or don't), repeat. What is the electrical load? Well, from what I know so far, you're going to need to order in some stuff to keep voltage stable while reducing amperage and not have heat issues. I know how to automate it with timers and relays, really it comes down to what you are looking for specifically and what your price range per unit is. Shoot me a message here, please. Hello, I can design you a schematic, and if required a PCB and possibly even create a prototype of the proposed PCB. It will most likely include a small voltage drop in the sensor-system, depending on the maximum project cost. Expensive could mean less than 100mV, cheapest could go up to 4VRMS (meaning 60W of heat at 15A current). There's even possibilities to trigger on RMS or peak current. My bid is based on a Circuit design and parts list (advised parts), I will simulate the design's extremes on paper to determine its reliability and then either supply a hand drawing or an Eagle Schematic File, as you prefer. For 'extra costs' the circuit can be transferred to a board design (Eagle PCB file), or even produced in prototype for 230VAC, 50Hz, tested and filmed. If the budget reaches to local production cost, it's even possible to construct ten full 120VAC 60Hz devices and send them, but as I am not without a 'day job' that could probably "break the bank".
