Hi, After reading through the paypass reader spec here I have come to some conclusions. First that it is possible, but with a caveat that may actually be a blessing in disguise. Mastercard would never allow it as a reader. I could make a pair of wifi devices, one that's a block that can sit on a standard paypass reader, and the other can be implanted in a shoe. the shoe component would interact with the customer's card with a generic NFC reader, while the other block would act like a NFC device set on the payment terminal. The interaction includes a back and forth between the two, which we I would have to program for. This device pair will likely cost less than $50 in in hardware at low volume. Thanks, Josh Valdes
