Design me computerised exam software

Greetings, I am professional developer with years of experience in various business related areas including simple multiple choice questions/answers. Can you tell will test be run simultenously from multiple computers (each with distinct questions) and what should be done after test if completed, should results be written to some centralized DB, sent to mail etc?
