Assistant Vice President -IT

Hi Looking for an AVP IT for a large NBFC:: Job Location would be Delhi/NCR JOB SUMMARY:  To act as a thought leader to COMPANY business functions on technology applications  Responsible for systems support to multiple business patches KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for analyzing, testing and delivering the technology solutions for implementation of new releases and applications  Responsible for project management of individual initiatives  Responsible for working with other technology managers on enterprise-wide initiatives  Good understanding of the business, processes and systems to effectively interface between technology and business  Manage contacts with vendors and staff to drive the deliverables on the various systems  Track the effort, scope and costs of initiatives managed by the role  Provide effective leadership to Business Systems Analysts  To work with other colleagues in IT to collectively fulfill the system delivery responsibilities on projects, that have cross-functional inter-linkages  Ensuring comprehensive test plans and thorough testing of the system, keeping the business users involved in the UAT. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for evaluation of new solutions and software vendors  Responsible for overall performance, cost and delivery of business applications  To maintain a healthy working relationship with the business users and other members of the IT Team MEASURES OF SUCCESS:  Execution measures: - Adherence to project plan and schedule - Quality of project deliverables  User satisfaction measures: - Business users should be satisfied with the tracking of the various projects JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION:  Engineer / MBA  Or, a MCA  Or, a CA MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:  7-9 + years of relevant experience  Should have managed at least one large size project or several medium size projects in a technology organization  Must have financial services back-ground specifically in Treasury Domain specifically as a techno- functional expert in an end-user or a technology organization  Must have knowledge of Asset Liability Management Report (ALM Reports) required by RBI  Must have working knowledge of Treasury borrowing products like Bank Loans, Commercial Paper, Debentures as well as Investments products like Fixed Deposits and Mutual Funds
