I will suggest you better solution for each task according to my experience in industry. Not only to complete job but make sure complete with better of product in term of low cost, able to manufacture, assembly process is feasible, can function perfectly and also high durability of product. For 3D design, i will use CATIA software because it is more offer flexibility of function. Customer can request any conversion format such as IGS, STEP and ect . For 2D drawing, will construct based on GD&T and manufacturing requirement.

Iam a certified auto cadd designer, with mechanical industrial engineering background, having about 4.5 years of experience with auto cadd software.
