We are a niche manufacturing company that would like to know what industry we're most closely aligned with.
Over the past years we have assumed that we are closely aligned with the furniture industry (because our company is a furniture accessory), but comparing our sales numbers to BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) we realize that this is not the case.
I'd like to have someone examine our sales numbers, and try to correlate them to different industries. I do not know what specific industries would be best, that will be up to you.
Deliverable:
-spreadsheet outlining the correlation of our company's sales with at least 20 other industries.
-citations for the 20+ other industries' numbers
-find an industry with a correlation of at least 90% for the past 5 years sales.
I will provide you with our industry, our sales numbers, and some background information on our company that may be helpful.
