A pretty easy assignment to do as all the info in this paper is make-belief (eg. you make up your own data, questions, problems etc) as long as the paper sounds logical and may be used as a degree assignment.
ABC Corporation (a fake name, non-existing co.) is a small company of about 200 employees which consisted of locals as well as staff from China, Philippines and India. Although the company has a Training & Development (T&D) Dept, the Mgmt noted that the Dept did not organise as much trainings and courses for the employees as it should. In addition, the sign-up rate for the existing trainings and courses are also very low; staff are not willing to go for trainings/courses.
The purpose of this paper would be to research on the reason why:
1.) The T&D dept did not organise trainings & courses
2.) Why staff are relunctant to sign up for trainings & courses or even suggest any courses/trainings which they would like to attend
3.) How the T&D dept can organise trainings & courses which will match the interest of staff or will be beneficial to the staff and in turn, allow the staff to apply what they've learned in the trainings to their job.
The paper should include 5 parts including:
1.) Introduction (each chapter on a new page. Introduce the co., co's history, research area, research topic, objectives, context/background, methodology etc),
2.) Literature Review (a review of relevant academic literature on the topics, a summary of literature, define some terms to be used in the paper),
3.) Research Methodology (Research method. to use primary data or sec data, will be interviewing staff? prepare questionaire? To include discussion of how you went abt researching topic, data collection methods, profile of co etc)
4.) Presentation and discussion of research findings (Coversion of data into knowledge. present and analyse the data gathered. statistical analysis, compare findings between co. etc)
5.) Conclusion (conclude and recommendations.)
All the above may be make-up (make belief) data or information, as long as it sounds logical. Eg. make up a fake copy of questionaire questions, answers or data collected.
The paper should be no more than 5000 words. The 'Harvard Style' of referencing must be used for this dissertation. ALL literature (website, books, articles, journals etc used in the paper) must be cited under 'Biblography' at the end of the paper.
