One of my competitors on Amazon with a Brand Name "Particular Paws" is always ranking #1 and #2 spots for almost every specific keyword related to their product. For example if you go to [login to view URL] and type in any of the following keywords "dog joint supplement", "glucosamine for dogs", "glucosamine chondroitin for dogs", and many others you will see their product in the top 2 ranks for the search. I have never seen any amazon seller ever achieve such consistent results of ranking #1 and #2 across so many keywords. In my opinion, there must be some blackhat technique or strategy involved. I am almost certain as to what your problem is. I sold $3m last year, and about half of that was from private label. I will happily look over your listing, and make sure that it is keyword optimized correctly. I noticed that Particular Paws has done a very good job with keywords, and I am sure that they are just doing it better than you. Also, sometimes they will be ranked higher due to 30 day sales volume. If they are consistently selling the most product for those specific keywords you will never be able to out rank them until you surpass them in 30 day sales.
