SharePoint 2013 Farm Migration to Azure

IAG is soliciting requests for quotations for IT services to migrate an existing on-premise SharePoint 2013 farm to a third-party public cloud infrastructure like Azure (note: this is NOT a SharePoint Online migration) The solution provider will be expected to set up the account with the host, complete the migration, test and the cut-over to the new live environment by the end of August. Background: ProjectWorkPlace is a SharePoint site owned and used by IAG exclusively for file sharing and collaboration on IAG engagements with IAG clients. A team site is setup for each IAG engagement and clients sign-in and log-in through custom webparts using forms based authentication. This is a small farm/collection. There are less than 150 users, 40 sites and less 100GB of data. Currently IAG employees log-in through AD. The proposed solution could either sync the ProjectWorkPlace AD with IAG’s Office365 AD environment, or IAG users could sign-in through FBA like other external users. Both options (or others) may be quoted. IAG is moving offices on August 30, 2017 so there is a hard deadline to have the new site operational and off the existing on-premise server by then. We are not planning to move the existing servers. References: · [login to view URL] · [login to view URL] Qualifications: This project will require the firm and individual(s) assigned to have the following qualifications: · Five (5) or more years of SharePoint experience (mandatory) · Experience working with SharePoint cloud infrastructure solutions (mandatory) · Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Office365, Azure (beneficial) · Microsoft certifications (beneficial) Submittal Requirements: Responses to this RFQ must include the following information: · A cover letter/statement of interest indicating the firm’s interest in the project and highlighting its qualifications to perform this project. · Name, resume, certifications, LinkedIn profile (and firm if subcontracted) of the lead/primary consultant(s) who will be performing the majority of the work. · Detailed statement/description of qualifications, including related experience with similar types of projects, and technologies proposed and specific qualifications or resumes of key team members. · Project proposal for the scope of work, including a proposed schedule with key milestones and deliverable dates, and cost estimates. For further clarity, the proposal must include the following elements: -Description of the approach, strategy, technology architecture, plan, and major areas of work - Reason, rationale, and benefits of the approach, practices, and solution proposed. - Any particular differentiating aspects of your service or solution that could set you apart from others - An estimated proposed timeline with main project milestones - Cost estimates - License/support requirements for the proposed third-party hosting provider (e.g., Azure) Responses must be limited to no more than five (5) pages excluding specific project examples, references, resumes, and covers.
