This is a Ruby on Rails application. There already is a lot of code and the respective controllers/models/views/etc. are already in place. However, I need someone to implement automatic table entries for me. The way this is supposed to work is illustrated in the pictures. The respective red entry in a table is supposed to trigger the corresponding red entries in the "Assignment" table. We will discuss this in more detail in person.

This what you want is so called cross join in SQL. Its not pretty hard to write. So what I can offer is SQL statemenent that you trigger on any insert/update int those three tables that are source for the table Assignement. Im not good with ruby but making it so simple like a trigger i think it could be a good and costless solution. regards
