Greetings!
Usually when going from a linux system to a windows system there are standard c/c++ linux header files, like you mentioned, that have *some* sort of equivalent in the windows environment. Depending on the project, it may be only one or two that need to be tracked down and renamed. Sometimes the calls to those functions also need some "adjusting."
I'd be happy to take a look ahead of time, let you know the scope of the job, prior to contracting. Can you point me at the source code?
I am a highly experienced C++ programmer with more than 20 years in the industry. I work entirely cross-platform, so your app can be simultaneously released to iOS and Android. I have focused extensively on 2d/3d graphics and imaging software for games and educational purposes, and I have done quite a bit of work with procedural animation systems, GLES shader code, and real-time image processing systems. Though I currently focus on apps for mobiles, in the past I have worked in a variety of game engines for PC, XBox, PlayStation3, and Wii.
Best regards,
John Klima
