Hi that is the extension of file. Here par means part file of solid edge and asm means assembly file of solid edge. Solid edge is a software for design any model and drawing. I know about it and I am using solid works for 3D model. I can open only par file and asm file. I am ready to start this job today. Regards kayes

All above extensions refer to different 3d design programs and i have all of them installed. I can take readings/dimensions from pics and can transform them into a new 3D design and finally can produced rendered design. Hello. The following is information in regards to the file types in question and the necessary software to open them: .asm - Language code or text based file opened with software such as Microsoft Wordpad. .cfg - Configuration file for storage purposes opened with software such as Winrar. .par - Like the .cfg file, this file type is usually part of a group of files that represent one item. Also opened with Winrar. .dft - A CAD file type opened with a DFT reader although I believe it can be opened with a DWF Reader just as well. As for my ability to read these files, I believe I will not a problem with the .cfg/.par/.dft file types but I'm unsure in regards to the .asm. Of course this will depend on the state of the files, but I am confident I can reproduce them in Sketchup. Thank you for this opportunity. Regards.
