Back of the book INDEXING

We run a small academic publishing house and are keen to get back-of-the-book indexing for some of our books. The first book is on business/management (supply chain management) and runs into approximately 400 pages. Pl respond with: ? **Speciality** areas - do you have knowledge/experience in indexing business/management type books? ? **Process** - how exactly will you perform the indexing? What do you expect from us (keywords?), and how will work be reviewed? ? **Communication** - given that there might be some communications required directly with the author, we expect the indexer to have reasonable written English language skills to be able to do so ? **Examples** of your work e.g. book, publisher, year ? **Experience** in the field (years) ? **software** used? Please note that some of our books are for eminent authors and therefore quality of work is important to us. If you think you cannot do justice to this piece of work (either due to lack of content knowledge or otherwise) please do not respond to this proposal.
