Create Playlist using Treeview ListView Control:
I have over 500 powerpoint slide shows and need to change them at random.
VB 6 only, No Exceptions
A demo is a must
I need to create playlists for powerpoint ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], and so on)
I have 4 PC's here and will need an install on all from Win 98 thru to Win 7.
Source code should be commented clearly.
Create 2 treeview & Listview sections (One on top of the other)
TreeviewA, ListviewA(if needed), and TextBoxPathA are in frameTop
TreeviewB, ListviewB(if needed), and TextBoxPathB are in frameBottom
I don't know if a listview is needed to show files, if these properties can be shown in treeview.
Name, Location & Size, etc
TextPathA & TextPathB show last file settings from ini file on form open
The Program Should:
Be able to select Listview views Show all Nodes (Icon, SmallIcon, List, Report)
Be able to open & Close select Hirearchy for TreeView
When form is opened, show last settings (Saved to Ini file) will be loaded into the tree view
Be able to Select File types to display in treeview & Listview (CheckBoxes?)
Selected view of treeview (and Listview?) saved to ini file.
Add/Remove items from tree view (Right click)
Remove items from any tree or list box (Right click)
Be able to change either or both Treeview Root by editing [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] (Prompt to Save to ini file)
Move files between Treeviews (Ctl + Drag copies, Shift + Drag Moves) Prompt on Drop
Delete only from Destination Folder option (Default = True)
===============
Open Top treeViewA to View files ("C:\PPT")
Open Bottom treeViewB to View files ("C:\PPT")
Root for both Treeview(s) is set by [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
TextBoxPathA is filled on formLoad from ini file
TextBoxPathA is filled on formLoad from ini file
List1 is filled with playlists from target folder
List2 shows contents of the selected list1 playlist. ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], and so on)
Command button to Save existing playlist or Save as a new playlist
Prompt to save on exiting playlist
Target drive cab be Hard drive, Network Drive, or Removeable drive.
## Deliverables
===Ini file Example==(C:\TV\[login to view URL]) (in [login to view URL])
[LeftSide]
TopPath="C:\PPT"
[RightSide]
BottomPath="D:\Powerpoint"
=========
[login to view URL] does not necessarlly have to be source or destination folder.
Be able to copy, move, paste, edit, and delete items in either treeview
Drag items from either treeview (or Double Click) to a list box to create, edit a new playlist, or edit existing playlist
If current playlist has changed, prompt user to save changes
