I need away of sifting through doc and pdf files and scan for dates in the context of an event: Example: Document (input) 'On 1 January, I went to school' Index - 01/01/2016 'went to school' + hyperlink + doc name + author 1) Create a crawler that goes through files in given folder 2) Identify dates and summary of correlating event 3) create chronological index (linking to paragraph). Include summary + hyperlink + doc name + author 4) sort all by date 5) rerun crawler + update table as more files are added to folder

I have been working on Natural Language processing and Machine Learning for two years now. I've done a lot of research and project in the field. Most of the steps are easy for me and I can do it right a away a crawler for dates. The event summary part might be tricky, but I'd need to get more information about exactly what events you want to summarize. I'll be doing some experiments to choose the best approach for the event summarization , and it will be divided into steps. I can provide a proposal and a sample code. Hello. I think I can help you. For this project, I can you use Python, because in this language there are many good libraries for Machine Learning and NLP. I have much experience of programming in Python and I know some algorithms of ML.
