You will be provided with a scenario relating to digital crime for your group which will be interacted with as a simulation online. You are required to manage the case from the initial instruction through to the presentation of the findings in court.
Instructions will be provided in character instructing you to conduct various tasks such as recovering forensic data, advising your line manager why you are adopting particular strategies and also preparing an expert witness report. The simulation will open with an initial set of instructions from your line manager. As part of this simulation you will be required to attend a physical location, after obtaining appropriate legal permission, in order to retrieve forensic data which will then be worked on using forensic tool kits.
