Create a Google Blogger site based on PSD

I have a template that's been designed and now needs to be applied to Blogger. I'm a Wordpress designer and would normally do this using Wordpress, but unfortunately that's not an option and I am having some trouble making it all work in Blogger.
I will give you the design in PM if you want to see it beforehand, but a few things about it:
- It's a pretty straightforward design, with a left-hand sidebar and then main text on the right.
- It has a dynamic nav in the sidebar. The style of the menu item needs to change when it is the selected page. It may also need to have different nav items depending on which page is selected (maybe in an accordion?).
- It would be great to have an editable text region in the main header area.
