Build a multi-vendor online marketplace based on local currency (ZMW)

We need a multi-vendor marketplace built in the line of Etsy et.al. It should have simple but effective admin possibilities for the individual stores (product management, upload, bulk product upload, image upload, sales and inventory stats) and comprehensive overall admin for us. It needs to be flexible in catering for currency with the primary goal of delivery being that it operates in Zambian kwacha (ZMW) throughout, with global options for other currencies. It needs to provide for flexible delivery and payment options, including offline over-the-counter payments and pluggable payment gateway integration. We need a front page with a product grid and controllable recommended products and product categories, and the possibility to drill down into categories, individual products and individual stores. The individual stors should be able to do simple branding of the store pages themselves. We need customer sign-ups and session handling. We have a preference for mySQL and PHP, as well as JS/Javascript/Angular JS on the front end. Code must be well structured and commented, and all front to back communication, as well as plug-in communication (payment gateway etc) must be API based. We would see Building off existing commerce frameworks like Magento or similar as a plus.
